Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with diploma in education or Teachers Diploma with relevant specialisation in Art Education
- At least five years’ experience in education or public programmes
- Knowledge of Museum education and public programmes
- Understanding of CAPS
- Computer literacy in MS Office Suite
- Proof required of valid driver’s license.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Manage Museum educators
- Report on education programmes
- Liaise with WCED and other relevant partners regarding the curriculum and programmes
- Initiate, developing, presenting and promoting collections-based education programmes and resources
- Overseeing education programmes, conduct guided tours, museum education activities, taking responsibility for management of a site and its activities.
